Frequently asked questions
How do I list my property on Renteasy?+
Sign in, then go to My properties -> New listing. Add photos and a few details, and submit it. Our team checks every listing, usually within a day, and emails you when it's live.
Is there a fee to list a property?+
Listing on Renteasy is free. If you'd like us to also post your listing on 28Hse, Squarefoot and Facebook, the multi-site package is HK$548 for each 30 days, paid by card or FPS and refunded if we can't approve the listing. See the Pricing page for details.
How long does a listing stay online?+
30 days from the day we approve it, on the free plan and the multi-site package alike. We email you a week before it ends and again the day before, and renewing takes one click: free on Renteasy, or HK$548 for another 30 days on the multi-site package. If your property is rented sooner, choose Mark as rented in My properties and it comes off the site straight away. Unused days can't be carried over to another listing, and the multi-site package isn't refunded when a property is rented early.
How do I contact a landlord about a property?+
Open any listing and send a message from the property page, or chat on WhatsApp or WeChat. Your message, with your contact details, goes straight to the landlord.
Can I save properties to look at later?+
Yes -- tap the heart icon on any listing. Saved properties appear under Favourites in your dashboard.
What areas does Renteasy cover?+
We're focused on Hong Kong, with listings across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories.
How do I edit or unpublish my listing?+
Go to My properties and click Edit on the listing. Change any details and choose Save changes, or choose Unpublish to take it offline without deleting it. If the property is rented, choose Mark as rented.
I forgot my password. What do I do?+
You don't need one. Enter your email on the sign-in page and we'll email you a 6-digit code. You can also sign in with Google or Microsoft.
